About Tarika Yellaula
Born and raised in New Jersey, Tarika Yellaula's passion for dance began at the age of four. Over the years, she has trained extensively in Indian classical styles including Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam under the guidance of Guru Malini Nair, and Kuchipudi under Guru Ajay Srinivas. In addition to her classical roots, Tarika has explored global dance forms, mastering Latin styles such as Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Cha-Cha, as well as Hip Hop and Jazz, making her a truly versatile performer. Recognized for her artistry across numerous platforms, Tarika has captivated audiences with over 750 performances to date. She began teaching dance at just 14 years old, sharing her passion and knowledge with others, and officially launched her solo dance career at 18. Today, she continues to inspire through her dedication, versatility, and commitment to keeping the beauty of dance alive across cultures and generations.
